Partner, Financial Planner

It was serendipity that led Rebecca into the financial services industry right after college in 1999, and finding true fulfillment in helping people that kept her there. Financial planning is both an art and a science that marries two of her favorite disciplines, psychology and math. She enjoys utilizing aspects of these two disciplines every day to help clients work toward achieving their financial goals.

Rebecca is the “E” in the ESG (Environmental, Social, & Governance) investing principles. Growing up in Tennessee, a significant portion of her childhood and adolescence was spent hiking in the mountains with her family. She gained an appreciation for the natural world at a young age while observing the indigenous flora and fauna. As an Environmental Science major at Ohio State University, she furthered her formal knowledge about the importance of conserving our natural resources and preserving the balance of our earth’s biodiversity.

She has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional since 2002, and has served in a variety of capacities within the industry over the years. In the five years prior to joining IMPACTfolio®, she was the Principal of Kennedy Financial Planning, a fee-only Registered Investment Advisor in Denver, Colorado.

Rebecca has served as the Co-Chair of the Pro Bono Committee and Chair of the Public Relations Committee for the Colorado Financial Planning Association. In addition, she has volunteered as a mentor for Denver Kids and is currently an active volunteer for Project Angel Heart. Rebecca is also an active member of NAPFA (The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors) and the Fee-Only Network. She is a previous member of the Garrett Planning Network.

She and her husband, Jim, spend much time doting on their two rescue dogs, Hoover and Winston, but try to break away occasionally to travel. Their goal is to safely and conscientiously encounter as much wildlife as possible in its natural habitat.

Julie Fletcher McDaniel, CFP®

Partner, Financial Planner
email - julie@impactfolio.co

Julie has been a tireless advocate for clients since she entered the industry with a degree in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University in 2006. She will continue to break glass ceilings and knock down doors for the rest of her career as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. She dives deep into her client’s financial picture to ensure every piece of the puzzle fits together correctly. Julie learns just as much from her clients as they learn from her.

Julie is the “S” in the ESG (Environmental, Social, & Governance) investing principles. She is a strong advocate for human rights, community involvement, ethical and fair treatment of employees in corporations, and the L.G.B.T.Q.I.A.+ community. She has given back to the Denver community by volunteering with several non-profits over the last couple of decades. This includes Project Angel Heart, Sunrise Senior Living, Denver Kids, Upstream Impact, and mentoring students at Kansas State University and Colorado State University. In 2018, Julie was a recipient of The Philanthropic Leadership Award from The Denver Foundation. She is an active member of the Fee-Only Network.

Away from the office, Julie and her husband stay active by hiking, skiing, golfing, traveling, and chasing around a very busy toddler. She is an active member of four book clubs and enjoys a lean-in network of friends and family.

Scott Arnold, CFP®

Partner, Portfolio Manager

email - scott@impactfolio.co

Due to his curiosity for solving financial puzzles coupled with his desire to help others, Scott joined the financial services industry in 1998. His passion to help others has grown stronger each year as a result of guiding clients through difficult and rewarding lifetime experiences.

Scott is the “G” in the ESG (Environmental, Social, & Governance) investing principles. He is a strong advocate for investing in ethical companies that take all stakeholders (clients, employees, the environment, local community and shareholders) into account with their business decisions. Scott’s passion for governance stems from growing up in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Home of one of the most brazen, deadly corporate gambits in U.S. history. DuPont agreed to settle a class-action lawsuit in 2004 for upwards of 374 million.  In 2005 the company agreed to pay the EPA $16.5 million to settle charges against it.  The lawsuits alleged that DuPont had concealed evidence that C8 (a byproduct of Teflon) was harmful to human health and had failed to disclose the contamination of public drinking water for more than two decades.

Scott earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Finance and Marketing from West Virginia University. Additionally, he earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2006.  He is a member of the XY Planning Network, NAPFA and the Fee-Only Network.

He lives in Centennial, CO with his wife Janet, their two sons and Emma (the doggie). Scott loves to spend his free time with family and enjoys getting outdoors hiking, camping and snowboarding. He believes in giving back to the community.  He enjoys coaching his sons' flag football and baseball teams. He has been a Den Leader with Cub Scout Pack 559 for years and was the Cubmaster in 2019/2020.  He also participates in various volunteer opportunities through the Financial Planning Association, CO IMPACT Days, and Guys Who Give.

What It Means to Be a Fiduciary

Would you like to work with an advisor that puts their interests ahead of yours?

We didn't think so. Work with us instead.

As fee-only fiduciaries, we...

Are not compensated by commissions or product sales.
Are only compensated by our clients.
Have no hidden 12b-1 fees.
Have transparent and upfront pricing.
Give advice in your best interest, not ours.
