David Zeligson

Administrative assistant and operations manager

David comes to IMPACTfolio® with more than 30 years of experience in financial services. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Sociology (both from the University of Connecticut). He started his career in the Corporate Retirement Plan sector [e.g., 401(k), Profit Sharing Plans] holding operations-based positions and eventually moving into management roles. David enjoyed working with software applications and this led him to train employees on using systems to administer retirement plans and service participant accounts. In 2002, David and his husband Michael relocated from Boston, Massachusetts to Palm Springs, California. He changed the focus of his work and assumed the position of head of corporate training and development for the US subsidiary of a major European bank. Using his knowledge of both financial services operations & learning and development, he transitioned into financial advisory operations and support work, becoming familiar with brokerage and custodial services. David’s role with IMPACTfolio® is to support the advisory team and keep operations running smoothly.

When David is not working, he likes to bake, write, travel, and spend time with Michael and their two dogs – Jenny, a Pomeranian and Benji, a Shih Tzu at their home in Rancho Mirage. He is also a film and theatre buff and enjoys writing about what he’s seen on his social media.
